Converse celebrates Frida Kahlo
Attention! Attention! Attention!
In case I did not mention it already, I am a huge Frida Kahlo fan. I know her paintings by heart, I have books, calendars, thank you notes, pictures and more, I just don’t want to say anything else because I am starting to sound crazy. Any who, casually browsing around I came across this campaign by Alejandro Gutierrez which illustrates 3 Converse special edition Frida Kahlo designs.
Immediately, I mobilized these ten fingers and found out that to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of Frida Kahlo, Converse has released this special edition of their classic chucks! Hold on, the bad news is that apperently they will only be sold in Mexico! So sad! Don’t they realize in Mexico how much we love Frida every where!
Converse is officially the coolest ever!

My Step Daughter is a huge Frida fan as well as an equally big Chuck fan! Putting them together well…….will make the perfect Junior High Graduation present.
